SURFACE PREPARATION
- Paint, oil residues, or latex on the surface to be treated must be thoroughly removed using appropriate equipment.
- Clean the surface before construction.
- Concrete with cracks or structural defects larger than 2mm should be properly repaired before construction.
- Surfaces with moisture can be coated, but Surfaces completely soaked in water or with standing water cannot be coated.
- The Surface must be dried to allow penetration of the hardner.
- For new concrete, it is recommended to wait a minimum of 28 days for curing before application.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Perform the construction on concrete surfaces with temperatures ranging from 5 to 35ºC.
- Do not perform the application on days with fast evaporation of the hardener, freezing conditions where the hardener could freeze, anticipated rainy weather, or days with strong winds.
APPLICATION
- Apply an appropriate amount of the reinforcing agent evenly and sufficiently to the concrete surface using a low-pressure sprayer.
- Only apply enough to ensure that the reinforcing agent does pool on the surface.
- If the reinforcing agent accumulates on the surface, immediately remove it using a trower or roller.
- Avoid excessive application. Excessively applying the reinforcing agent can result in the formation of white spots and dust on the surface as it dries.
