Aggressive shapes for the larger grit sizes (lower grits), where removal rates are important and Smooth shapes for the finer grit (higher grit) to optimize scratch pattern

 

  • Grit #16 – diamond grinding tools are usually when you expect to aggressively prep concrete floor in order to quickly open the old surfaces. This grit is also good for removing thinner coating covered surfaces. the first step of metal bond grinding for removing old rough surfaces.
  • Grit #30 – is to aggressively grind concrete floor in order to quickly open the old surfaces. This grit is also good for removing thinner coating covered surfaces.
  • Grit #60 – is to continue smooth the surface. After coarse process 60/80 grit doesn’t scratch the surface too much.
  • Grit #120 – makes the smoothest grinding.

 

Optimal Performance: plastic-like ceramic glues. vinyl glues, paint and think epoxy.
Good Performance: medium concrete.
